What a Bagster bag is

A Bagster bag is a woven bag you buy at a home improvement store, fill, then schedule for pickup. It holds 3 cubic yards and up to 3,300 lb, and measures 8 feet by 4 feet by 2 feet 6 inches (Bagster, checked October 12, 2026).

Home Depot listed it at $29.95 on October 12, 2026. The pickup fee is separate, and Home Depot's listing says collection service is not available in all markets.

What one bag costs to remove in Lemont

We entered ZIP code 60439 into Bagster's pickup price lookup on October 12, 2026. It showed $230.00 for the first bag. With the $29.95 bag, that is about $260 before local fees and taxes.

The same lookup showed $155.00 for each extra bag picked up at the same time and address. Two bags is 2 x $29.95 plus $230 plus $155, or $444.90.

Limits to know before you buy a bag

These are Bagster's own published terms, checked October 12, 2026.

• Heavy debris: Bagster will not collect a bag with more than one cubic yard of heavy debris. Concrete, brick and dirt go in our 6 yard box.
• Not accepted at ZIP 60439: yard waste, appliances, electronics, tires and food waste. Bagster does not take appliances at ZIP 60439. We do.
• Pickup happens within five business days of scheduling.
• The bag is single use and is not waterproof.

When a dumpster is the better choice

Bagster's own comparison page says dumpsters are a great option for larger jobs that produce more debris. We agree. Pick the box when you need more than two bags of space, when part of the load is heavy, or when you do not want to wait for a pickup window.
