What size dumpster do I need for a tenant turnover?
A turnover is furniture volume rather than weight. A single apartment usually lands on the 12 or 16 yard; a whole house, or several units cleared at once, is the 20 or 30. The container goes on the lot or the drive, stays a full week with a three day grace period on top, and the same number reaches the same people every time you turn a unit. Book it against the move-out date
The window between one tenant leaving and the next moving in is short, and it is usually booked before anyone has seen the unit. Call with the move-out date and we put the drop in that day's run; call again when it is full and it goes. Same-day delivery when the route allows.
It goes on the lot, and in Chicago we hold the permit
On a private lot or driveway in the suburbs there is normally no village paperwork. Street or parkway placement is the village's call. Inside Chicago the container permit belongs to the hauler, which is us, on private and public property alike. Tell us the spot and anything that blocks a truck: a gate, low wires, a tight turn.
Repeat bookings without an account

Can furniture and mattresses left by a tenant go in?
Yes. Furniture, appliances and electronics are accepted. Mattresses are $25 each. Hazardous, flammable or liquid material, tires and food waste are not.
How much does a turnover dumpster cost?
We quote every job on the phone, because the price depends on the size, the town and what you are throwing away. How the price is built: one flat rate covers a full week, with a three day grace period on top at no extra charge, and the rate is the same whether you fill the container the first afternoon or keep it the whole time. Weight is included up to the container's limit, 3 tons in the 12 yard, 4 tons in the 16 and 20, 5 tons in the 30. The 6 yard is rated to be filled level full, which is what makes it the container for concrete, brick and dirt. Mattresses are $25 each. Tell us the town, what is going in it, roughly how big the job is and the date you need it, and we will price it on that call.
