What the 6 yard is for
The only container rated for concrete, brick or dirt. Fits one driveway lane.
Concrete, brick and dirt are only allowed in this container. That is an axle weight limit rather than a policy, so it does not change at any price, and no larger container can legally take that material. If your job mixes clean concrete with general debris, take a 6 yard for the heavy part and a larger box for the rest.
Accepted: construction debris including wood, flooring, carpet and drywall, plus household debris like furniture, toys, clothes, appliances and electronics. Mattresses are accepted for a $25 fee.
Not accepted: hazardous, flammable or liquid material (oil, gasoline, paint unless fully hardened), tires, and household food waste.

What a WasteBox rental costs
We quote every job on the phone, because the price depends on the size, the town, and what you are throwing away. What we can tell you is exactly how the pricing is built.
- One flat rate, however long you keep it
- The rental runs a week, with a three day grace period on top. Ten days is the maximum. You pay the same whether you fill the container the first afternoon or keep it the full ten days.
- Weight is included, up to a limit
- The 12 yard carries 3 tons, the 16 and 20 carry 4, the 30 carries 5. The 6 yard is rated to be filled level full, which is what makes it the container for concrete, brick and dirt.
