Driveway and placement

Will a dumpster damage my driveway?

We make no promise about your driveway, but customers describe careful placement, wood under the box and drivers who check slopes. Call 630-850-0770 and describe your driveway.

Slope

Sloped driveways come up in reviews. One customer wrote:

He took a look at our driveway because of the slope and went above and beyond to make sure it was safe to drop the dumpster with the pitch of the driveway. Josh Hemmelgarn, Google review.

We do not publish a slope limit. If your driveway is steep, say so when you call.

Boards and plywood

Two reviews describe wood under the box. In one, the driver cut the wood himself. In the other, the customer's contractor laid plywood on a paver driveway.

Art also took the time to cut wood to protect the driveway and landed it exactly where we wanted it. Josh Hemmelgarn, Google review.

He did a great job backing in while coordinating with our contractor, who was laying down plywood to help protect our paver driveway. Amy Buss, Google review.

Their driver Jason was helpful and was able to position the dumpster in a way to preserve vehicle access to the garage while the dumpster was in the driveway. Tony M, Google review.

Where you want it

Always place the container where I ask them to. Konrad Chrzaszcz, Google review.

Tony M also wrote about text updates: They text about 30 minutes prior to arriving for drop off and pick up. Tony M, Google review.

What to tell us when you call

We cannot judge a driveway over the phone, but a good description helps the driver plan. These are the details that matter:

  • Where you want the box and which way the driveway slopes.
  • The surface: asphalt, concrete, pavers or gravel.
  • Where cars, garage doors and walkways need to stay clear.
  • Whether you will put boards or plywood down first.
